When he was born, Philip John Clapp was known by the stage name Johnny Knoxville; he was born on March 11, 1971 in Knoxville, Tennesse. His mother, Lemoyne, was a Sunday school teacher and his father, Philip, was a car and tyre dealer; he has two elder sisters.
